Sweetwater Bison is a family-owned ranch near Gypsum, CO, focused exclusively on 100% grass-fed bison operations since 1993. The herd runs on 400+ acres of high-elevation pasture with elevations ranging from 7,000–7,700 feet. Our herd eats all-natural grass and only drinks from live running rivers.

We do not administer antibiotics and minimize handling to reduce stress. All our meat is USDA inspected and certified. Our focus is simple: responsible stewardship of America's original red meat and raising bison in a way that reflects their natural environment and history.

Quarter Animal

We sell a quarter animal at a time. All packages are vacuum sealed and meat is processed locally. Cuts vary in size and shape.
